Like Father, Like Son

Last night, Asa played with his wet hair and came up with.....











He really liked it and loved giving us all a good laugh so he announced that this would be his 'do' for the morrow. He awoke to find his hair unscathed and off to school he went with mohawks being the car rider topic for the morning. When he arrived home this afternoon, his first words were "I have good news and I have bad news." We got the good news out of the way immediately (back pack returned from being left in the neighbors' car for days). The bad news: Lots of derrogative remarks about Asa's hair. He concluded to wear his mohawk hair one more day and "pretend he doesn't have ears" so he doesn't hear that others don't like his hairdo. How profound...Out of the mouths of babes.

....a year ago I blogged about my fondness for April Fool's. Well this year I caught the pranking bug and got Rusty and the children. I even did dinner: 'cupcakes', 'grilled cheese', and beans. The cupcakes were meat loaf with blue colored potatoes while the grilled cheese was frosted pound cake. Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe. It was a fun filled day!
